A new Developing Consensus Junior Chapter is inviting emerging talent from member and associate companies to discuss current issues in the development and regeneration sectors.
The new group, which is led by Pippa Heron, will aim to have parallel conversations to senior steering meetings allowing their views to feed into decisions made by the wider membership.
Pippa, who is a Development Manager at igloo Regeneration, said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to lead on this new venture and work alongside DC members to empower our next generation of industry professionals.
“It’s always exciting to be part of such a dynamic team and we have some brilliant plans in store for the New Year.”
All Developing Consensus members and associates are asked to put forward junior staff members and encourage them to engage with the new chapter.
Sandra Manson, Executive Director of Developing Consensus and Senior Director at Pegasus Group, said: “Over the last few years, the skills gap has been becoming even more prominent as our members and associates struggle to recruit and find resource to help with workload demands.
“We hope our new Junior Chapter will not only give younger members a unique opportunity to shape the future of our towns and cities, but also help support new individuals coming into the industry and engage in initiatives to help increase the talent pool within the region.
“Our unique offering of facilitating public and private sector collaboration will hopefully also ring true in our Junior Chapter and that we can collaborate and support other fantastic young professional networking groups within the industry too.”
