Ensuring a bright future for the North East
There’s a great opportunity for the North East to build on recent growth, drive forward new development and become a more prosperous region.
But securing improvements to the places where we live, work and play requires a fundamental change in how private and public sector organisations across the North East work together.
We crucially need to unlock barriers to development, create the right conditions for growth, attract inward investment and enable the delivery of new homes, offices and infrastructure for the businesses and residents of the North East.
Consensus through collaboration
This can only be achieved through strong collaboration across the region, better communication between public and private sector organisations, and through building a full dialogue on the topics that matter.
A joined-up approach to planning and development will enable us to make the most of what we have and deliver the economic assets and infrastructure that will secure the brightest future for our region.
